Biography
Dr. Maria Tugbang
studied Psychology and Dentistry at the University of British Columbia,
graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990 and later a Doctor
of Dental Medicine degree in 1994.
She enjoys
dentistry and participates in many continuing education programs to
update her skills. She has trained with some of the world's most
prominent cosmetic dentists.
Dr. Tugbang is a Graduate and Mentor at the
Kois Center, a prestigious
and highly-acclaimed post-graduate school for dentists located in
Seattle, Washington. She helps facilitate dental courses on topics such
as comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning, functional occlusion, periodontics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, prosthodontics
including as implants, dentures, bridges and crowns. She
helps fellow dentists learn and implement systems that focus on managing
patients’ risk factors and developing treatment plans for long-term,

She has also trained with some of the world’s best implant dentists. She received extensive training in surgical placement of implants, hard and soft tissue grafts from
Ickert Implant Teaching Centre under the mentorship of Dr. Norm Ickert, a respected local expert in the field of implantology and comprehensive dentistry.
She has taught in University of British Columbia as a clinical
instructor to help dental students perform restorative procedures on
their patients. She has also worked in Outreach clinics in Vancouver
and Guatemala providing dental services to the underprivileged.
Dr. Tugbang is
rapidly becoming known as a leading Langley cosmetic dentist. Her
